Ingredients

36 Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

12 oz dark chocolate or milk chocolate, for coating

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Sprinkles or crushed Oreo cookies for decoration (optional)

Instructions

In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl.

Add the softened cream cheese to the Oreo crumbs and mix until well combined. You can use a spatula or your hands for this step; ensure everything is mixed thoroughly.

Once combined, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Freeze the Oreo balls for about 30 minutes, or until firm.

While the balls are cooling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.

Remove the Oreo balls from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.

Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle them with sprinkles or crushed Oreo cookies before the chocolate sets.

Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature, or place the baking sheet in the fridge for a quicker setting.

Once the chocolate is set, transfer the Oreo bliss balls to an airtight container for storage.
